Griggs Haulage is one of the leading transport companies in North Queensland who has been servicing the region for over 30 years. Our business proudly supplies quarry products to the wider community. Together with body truck, truck and dog, semi, walking floor, flat top, tilt tray, water truck and loader hire. Our extensive tanker fleet which we cart molasses, liquid fertiliser and cattle feed. Griggs Haulage is the major contractor for the application for liquid fertiliser to the Burdekin. We are one of the prime carters of commodities produced in the Burdekin.
This is gives us an edge over other competitors as we have an extensive range of equipment and supplies which allows us to complete a wide range of jobs.

Prime Movers
We have a fleet of 20 prime movers that have the capability of being a single to a triple application.
Rigid Trucks
Our fleet of over 24 rigid/ truck and dog combinations, can cart from 12 tonne up to a 39 tonne pay load.
8 Wheelers
Our two 8 wheelers are primarily used to cart asphalt on contracted job sites.
Water Truck
We have water carts and a semi water tanker on hand for any job. We frequently contract to local road authorities watering roads and although we do not cart drinking grade water, we regularly cart saltwater to James Cook University.
Trailers
With our fleet of extensive trailers including semi-tippers, walking floors, step deck floats, tilt trays and more, we are confident we can supply a vehicle for your transport requirements.
Loaders
Supplementing this equipment we also have 5 front end loaders - one Hyundai, two Volvo L60F’s and two Hitachi LX150’s available for hire.
Tractors
As we are the sole contractor for the application of Liquid Biodunder in the Burdekin Region our purpose built applicator machines which stream the Biodunder directly over the stool minimising runoff and maintaining compliance with Reef Rescue Regulations.
